About Me
The novelty of bringing a home-cooked packed lunch to work or for some kids, to daycare or kindergarten, has truly taken off. For me, at least, eating a from a bento (lunch box) at work allows me to multi-task, i.e. eat and work at the same time. In addition, I love the fact that my loved ones are bringing a part of home with them to their workplace or to wherever they may be, and it’s all packed with a whole load of TLC.
My experiments with bento-ing started when I began work in the US, after my family relocated here for a few months. And each bento experience has been a truly rewarding one, plus it is a good learning experience too, allowing me to explore little culinary secrets I never thought existed. Creating bentos stretches the imagination to a great extent too, because I try to make the food visually appealing as well.
So if you are Bent on Bentos, just like me, I am sure you will find something to relate to here.
I am open to suggestions you may have for bento-ing, or if you have any questions/comments, please feel free to drop me a line. I would love to hear from you.
